My case also similar:

PERM Applied - 04/24/2007 - EB3.
Perm Approved - 08/14/2007.
I-140 E-filed - 08/16/2007. Got Online Receipt. Sent the required Documents to USCIS after a week.
I-485/EAD/AP - Posted on 08/16/2007. Included the Online Labor Approval Petition without signatures and Online receipt of I-140.
Received USCIS on 08/17/2007.
Waiting for Receipts.
Don't know whether it will be accepted or will get an RFE.

Cake - that is by design. Place the contents of your grid inside a ViewBox control (WPF only I believe). Once you have done that, you will see the contents of your grid scale as its height gets altered.

In US the nice thing about SSA is unemployment and disability security.
But 10 years is a long time to wait on a temporary visa to get your social security back.. There were some discussions to reduce this to 3 years but that talk is dead now.

In India, the best part is 100% compulsory employer contribution. But
Indian PF sucks with rising inflation and lack of accountability.

And we all know how the employers would "Package" their "contribution".

This latest development will sting Indian origin GC holders and US citizens who go back to work in India and MNC employees working abroad.

Before she changes her job so soon after I-485 approval. Make sure you understand the consequences of not staying with your petitioning employer.

Your intent may be questioned during Naturalization process. Talk to an attorney. I dont think people can just switch employers after 485 is approved rightaway.

Hi Folks, I have a question about traveling to India...

Want to travel from US to Indore, India. As I need to change planes either Mumbai or Delhi, how does it work?

1. I came to know that in Mumbai, it is just change of terminals, not airports. Am I right?

2. How about Delhi? Once I arrive at International airport in Delhi, to catch a domestic flight to Indore, is it change of airports or just change of terminals? Is there a shuttle provided?

RAYSAIKAT pretty much summed it up right...
@Mumbai...you get to the International Terminal and then depending on which domestic carrier you are flying with to Indore, most likely they will arrange for the shuttle to the Domestic Terminal. It is about a 10 min ride and you will have to pick up your luggage and go through customs/immigration before this. I know that Jet Airways (not sure about others) even checks in your bags at the Int'l terminal so you don't have to carry all that with you on the shuttle.
Having said that, if I were you I would definitely make sure that there is enough (at least 4 hrs, I feel) time between the two flights so you are not left running around gasping for breath! ;)

Sorry...not idea about Delhi...never took an Indore flight from there...only Mumbai...

Your earlier post sound she filed for you.
Once you file I-485 for her, her age will be frozen.
But GC is for unmarried children.
If she is married before GC and USCIS knows about it, they can deny her petition.
If she marry a H1B guy, she can take H4 visa.
Consult a lawyer to find how to keep her in 'STATUS'.

When she was 19, I applied for her on behalf of me.
She was my dependent.

Do not continue to start new threads asking for updates and asking core members for answers. You, an IV member is our answer and you yourself can also provide answer to all of us by helping us. We also want members to actively participate in funding drive and we will be communicating with such contributing members. This would encourage members to help IV to help everyone and themselves with their efforts. Till now merely 154 members have commited funds in the past 1 week. We can get thousands of opinions on forums on a given subject, but it is really hard to have a meagre $20 contribution from members. Without contributions we will be limited in our efforts. It is very critical for our success and to achive our common goal. IV will not survive without being able to fund our efforts and members can continue to debate on various provisons on forums without much hope for any relief. Regardless of the nature of the outcome from USCIS, I think we should all take 5-10 minutes out of our busy lives and all the "predicting" and dash off a quick note of thanks to Congresswoman Lofgren for taking our cause to heart and using her position to ask the right questions that has led USCIS to consider some action to alleviate the pain they caused us by creating this mess. I figured we could show our appreciation for what she did to help us out.

My understanding is, while your AOS is pending, you're in parolee status. This is what you mention on the EAD & AP renewal applications. A copy of your 485 receipt notice should be enough which has the "A" number if the university wants to check with the CIS.

Paranoia at its helm. There are things that protect you like AC-21 when you don't have a GC. You have a GC, move on to the client job..

The only concern is if you had a contract signed with your consulting firm that you would not join your client for x number of years yada yada, so check your contract, if nothing is in there, you should be fine..
